47 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received any request from Dublin Corporation to provide funds or to approve the expenditure of part of the parking meter revenues on improved facilities for cyclists; if he will confirm his approval for the request; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

No proposals for the use of income from parking charges to provide improved facilities for cyclists have been received in my Department from Dublin Corporation.
