I propose to take Questions Nos. 41, 46, 78, 83, 92 and 188 together.

The introduction of a pilot job-sharing scheme for primary teachers has been considered by the managerial authorities of national schools and my Department. It was decided that such a scheme should not be implemented for primary teachers at this time.
The question of the introduction of a job-sharing scheme, on a pilot basis, for post-primary teachers is currently being considered by my Department.
The facility of job-sharing is available in all colleges under the aegis of the Higher Education Authority. There are no proposals at present for such a scheme for academic staff of third-level vocational education committee colleges.
