Question:128 Mr. Bradford asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if she will list the names of the 158 sub post offices which have been closed by An Post since 1984.
Written Answers. - Sub Post Office Closures.
The sub post offices in question were closed by An Post in accordance with a long established practice, which predates the setting up of the company in 1984. An Post is not statutorily required to furnish me with a list of the offices which have been closed. The question of the provision of a list of closed sub post offices is, accordingly, a matter for the company.
