Vol. 418 No. 5

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Terry Leyden

Question:

118 Mr. Leyden asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will arrange for immediate payment of a beef subsidy grant to a person (details supplied) in County Roscommon.

The person named has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme as five of the animals on which he applied for premium had already received payment and the cattle identity cards were clearly notched to that effect. Under EC regulations he is also debarred from the scheme for 12 months from 4 November 1991.
