119 Mr. Leonard asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will give details of (a) the number of milk suppliers in Connaught-Ulster who have applied under the Community milk buy-up scheme and (b) the gallonage involved.

Applications from 562 milk producers situated in the Connaught-Ulster region were accepted under the Community buy-up scheme. These producers surrendered milk quotas amounting to 4.48 million gallons.
