Question:

123 Mr. Flanagan asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason a farm installation grant has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Offaly.

This application cannot be further processed until the applicant has furnished information which was requested by Teagasc.

Question:

124 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will issue a suckler grant to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

This applicant has already been paid her grant under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme.

125 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will issue a beef premium grant to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The person named has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 special beef premium scheme as two of the animals on which he applied for premium had already received payment. Under EC regulations he is also debarred from the scheme for 12 months from 6 December 1991.

126 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will issue a suckler grant to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The person named has been deemed ineligible for grants under the 1991 suckler cow premium scheme as he listed two animals on his application form which were not cows at the date of application. Furthermore, under EC regulations he is also disqualified from payment under the 1992 suckler cow premium scheme.

127 Mrs. Taylor-Quinn asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will issue payment of a slatted house grant to a person (details supplied) in County Clare.

The final inspection has now been carried out in this case and it is expected that the grant will be paid within the next four to six weeks.
