128 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the position regarding the implementation of a sewerage extension to Ballyvary, Castlebar, County Mayo which has been applied for by Mayo County Council; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

My Department have advised Mayo County Council that, having regard to existing commitments on the water and sanitary services programme, it is not possible to approve the proposed extensions to the Ballyvary scheme.
