Question:25 Mr. Garland asked the Minister for Finance whether he has received representations from environmental groups in County Wicklow regarding the proposed interpretative centre at Lugalla.

Representations from environmental groups have been received, in response to the Environmental Impact Statement (EIS) for the proposed interpretative centre which was published last year.
These submissions were taken into account as part of the assessment of the EIS. All the responses were made available to the planning authority who evaluated them and subsequently concluded that the project could proceed at the site in question. Since then, further representations have been received. However, no new issues in relation to the impacts arising from the proposal were raised.
