113 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education if he will make a statement on the lack of physical education halls and opportunities in general for students in St. MacDaras Community College, Willington, Dublin; and if he will outline the way in which he proposes to improve the situation.
There are many applications before my Department for the provision of new schools, extensions, and repairs to existing school accommodation to provide and renovate urgently needed teaching accommodation. In the circumstances all capital resources available are committed to addressing this need and accordingly it is not possible at present to provide a physical education hall at the school in question.
