159 Mr. Clohessy asked the Minister for Education the status of the B. Sc. (Information Systems) course which is intended to commence in September, 1992 at the Limerick College of Art, Commerce and Technology; the sanction or recognition of the course which has been granted by his Department; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

A proposal to establish a B. Sc. (Information Systems) at the Limerick College of Art, Commerce and Technology has been received in my Department from City of Limerick Vocational Education Committee. This proposal is currently under consideration and my Department will be writing to the vocational education committee very shortly in the matter.
