Question:165 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Education if he will increase the grant aid to the Ladies Gaelic Football Association to promote the game throughout Ireland.
Written Answers. - Ladies Gaelic Football Association Funding.
The position is that because of constraints on funding for sport in 1992, it will not be possible to award additional grant-aid to the association in the current year.
The application will again be considered as the financial provision permits.
The Minister of State at my Department has met a deputation from the Ladies Gaelic Football Association at which the matter was discussed.
