Question:

248 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for the Environment if he will give a breakdown of the non-national roads grant for each county and county borough under the following headings, (1) discretionary grant for regional and county roads, further broken down into the categories, (a) block grant for improvement works, (b) block grant for maintenance works, (c) supplementary improvement grant and (2) special works for 1992.

The information requested is set out in the table following. The discretionary grant for regional and county roads for county borough councils takes the form of a block grant and is not broken down under the headings improvement, maintenance and supplementary.
