255 Mr. J. Mitchell asked the Minister for the Environment if he has received an application from Dublin Corporation seeking approval for a proposed scheme of senior citizens' dwellings at Halliday Road/Aughrim Street, Dublin 7; if he is now in a position to approve this project; if he will confirm that funds will be made available so that construction can commence this year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

As the proposed scheme at Halliday Road/ Aughrim Street was not nominated by Dublin Corporation as part of their 1992 authorised programme of 100 new "starts"/acquisitions, the question of approval and financing of the scheme does not arise at this stage.
