11 Mr. Pattison asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he will outline the procedural and operational changes he proposes to introduce into the operations of his Department so as to give effect to the Taoiseach's statement of his commitment to open Government; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
I presume that the Deputy is referring to the Taoiseach's statement in this House on 18 February, 1992 in which he set out his own position and that of the Cabinet as regards open Government.
In so far as the work of my Department is concerned, I have been forthcoming both to this House and to the wider public as to my actions and the reasons for them and I will continue this practice.
