111 Mr. J. Bruton asked the Minister for Tourism, Transport and Communications if she will outline, in relation to the reference in the fifth paragraph of her reply to Parliamentary Questions Nos. 15, 21, 23, 27, 30, 32, 61, and 62 of 2 April 1992 the EC support for major transport projects in other countries; if she will give details of the projects in question, and if she will further outline whether the EC aid was given on a quota or a non-quota basis.

On a general level, I am aware that EC support has been made available to some other member states for major public transport projects. One such project is the new metro system in Athens. However the detailed information sought by the Deputy in relation to major public transport projects on a Community wide basis is not available to my Department.
