Question:158 Mr. O'Shea asked the Minister for the Environment when he will provide funds to install the new sewerage system at Cheekpoint, County Waterford in view of its urgent importance in relation to housing development in the village.
I propose to take Questions Nos. 157 and 158 together.
Contract documents for this scheme are with my Department. Having regard to the existing level of commitments under the water and sanitary services programme, I am not in a position to indicate when a decision may be made.
