266 Mr. Kenny asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food when payment of a cattle headage grant will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

This applicant has already been paid his grants under the 1991 Cattle and Equines Headage, Suckler Cow and Special Beef Premium Schemes.

267 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the present position regarding the headage grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; if he will give details of the amount of the grant approved, and when payment will issue.

The person named has been paid his 1991 Cattle Headage, Suckler Cow Premium and Special Beef Premium Schemes grants already. The grant amounts approved under those Schemes were £1,078.40, £685.40 and £70.30 respectively.

268 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the present position regarding the beef subsidy application of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; if he will give details of the amount of the grant approved, and when payment will issue.

The persons named have been paid their 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme grant already. The amount of premium approved was £316.35.

269 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the present position regarding the headage grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; if he will give details of the amount of the grant approved, and when payment will issue.

The person named has already been paid his 1991 Suckler Cow Premium and Special Beef Premium Scheme grants already. The grants approved under those Schemes were £685.40 and £351.50 respectively.

His 1991 Cattle Headage Scheme grant is being processed for payment at present and if found in order a payment of £1,252 will issue to him shortly.

270 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the present position regarding the headage grant application of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; if he will give details of the amount of the grant approved, and when payment will issue.

The person named has been paid her 1990 and 1991 Suckler Cow Premium Schemes grants for small-scale milk producers already. The amounts of grants approved under those Schemes were £524.30 and £685.40 respectively. Her 1991 Special Beef Premium and Cattle Headage Schemes grants are being processed at present and if found in order payments of £773.30 and £1,746 respectively will issue shortly in respect of those Schemes.

This applicant has already been paid his grant of £1,406.00 under the 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme.

The application of the person named has been approved for payment amounting to £351.50 under the 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme and payments will be made shortly.

The application of the person named has been approved for payment amounting to £1,054.50 under the Special Beef Premium Scheme and payment will be made shortly.

274 Mr. Enright asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will outline the present position regarding the beef subsidy application of a person (details supplied) in County Offaly; if he will give details of the amount of subsidy approved; and when payment will issue.

The applicant has already been paid his grant of £175.75 under the 1991 Special Beef Premium Scheme.

His 1991 Beef Cow and Suckler Cow Premium Schemes grants are being processed at present and if found in order payments of £890 and £891.02, respectively, will issue in respect of those Schemes shortly.

275 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason headage payments have not issued to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford in view of his reply to Parliamentary Question No. 360 on 24 March 1992; and if he will ensure that payment issues immediately.

I regret that payment of sheep headage, as promised in my reply on 24 March 1992 has not yet been made. I have now given instructions that the payment is to be made without delay.

276 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of headage grants and suckler cow premia to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will ensure that payment issues immediately.

Payments due to this applicant under the 1991 Suckler Cow Premium and Beef Cow Schemes are being processed and will issue shortly. The delay in payment in this case is due to pressure of work in the local office.

277 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food the reason for the delay in payment of the 1990 and 1991 suckler cow premia for small scale milk producers for a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and if he will ensure that payment issues immediately.

Payments due to this applicant under the 1990 and 1991 Suckler Cow Premium Schemes for Small-Scale Milk Producers are being processed and will issue shortly. The delay in payment is due to pressure of work in the local office.
