90 Mr. Noonan (Limerick East) asked the Minister for Health whether he has accepted the recommendation of Comhairle na nOspidéal in respect of the establishment of a national centre for plastic surgical services; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The establishment of a national centre as recommended in the Comhairle na nOspidéal report on plastic surgery services has significant implications in terms of additional revenue and other resources and will be considered as sympathetically as possible by my Department in the context of the resources which will be made available in 1993 and the many competing demands for new developments throughout the health services.
