Question:120 Miss Coughlan asked the Minister for Health the reason for the delay in finalising the purchase of the new site of the proposed nursing unit in Killybegs, County Donegal; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

I do not accept that there has been a delay in finalising the purchase of the new site for the proposed nursing unit in Killybegs. I conveyed approval to the North Western Health Board to proceed with the purchase on 6 April 1992 and the Board informs me that they have instructed their Solicitors to complete the purchase. They anticipate a time scale of three to four weeks to completion of purchase.
