Question:131 Mr. Gregory asked the Minister for the Environment if he has considered the position of cosy taxi drivers in Dublin city; and if he intends to make additional taxi licences available to them.

I refer to the reply to Questions Nos. 12 and 79 of 12 May 1992 which outlined in general terms the action I intend to take arising from the report of the committee which carried out a review of the law applying to the operation of small public service vehicles. I will announce futher details in the near future.
