Question:57 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Industry and Commerce if he has ever received precise information from insurance companies as to (a) the value of policies taken out for loan security purposes (b) the proportion of such policies which might have been the subject of early encashment and (c) the average proportion of full benefits paid in the event of early encashment; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
