Written Answers. - School Improvement Works.

Question:

41 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Education when he approved the tender for improvement works at a school (details supplied) in County Dublin; when these works will proceed; and if he has satisfied himself that the works will be completed on time to enable the three primary schools to merge by September 1992.

Funding for this project has been provided in the 1992 Capital Programme for National Schools. I am not in a position to say when work will commence, however, pending the outcome of ongoing discussions with the management of the school.
