21 Mr. Spring asked the Minister for Education if he will outline his Department's plans for the future development of the regional technical college in Tralee, County Kerry with particular reference to the plans for the expansion of student numbers.
My Department recently sanctioned the appointment of an architectural design team to prepare a development plan for the regional technical college in Tralee, Co. Kerry which could be implemented on a phased basis, including the provision of new classrooms on campus. The sanction also includes the provision of rented accommodation to meet the college's immediate requirements.
Three new courses have been approved for the coming academic year and additional funds have been included in the financial allocation for 1992 to take account of the college's expansion.
