Question:211 Mr. Barry asked the Minister for Education the proposals, if any, he has to relocate pupils at the Cork School of Music Annex, in view of the fact that this building has been condemned by the fire officer.

Any such arrangements would be a matter for the City of Cork Vocational Education Committee. My Department understands from the committee that the Cork School of Music Annex has not been condemned by the fire officer. However, the committee is in contact with the fire officer at present about some unsatisfactory aspects of the existing accommodation and is exploring possible alternative provision.
