Question:363 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment if he will outline the current position with regard to the provision of a new fire station at Naas, County Kildare; if final agreement has yet been reached or is likely to be reached in the near future in relation to the site required for the project; whether the technical officers from his Department have examined alternative sites available; if a recommendation has been made in respect of any such site; if he will outline whether he expects to give his approval to the proposal in the near future; if sufficient funding is available to allow the project to progress further in the current year; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
