Two of the scholarships are valid for studies in institutions of higher learning (Universities and Federal Institutions of Technology) and one for studies of Music and Fine Arts — (Conservatoires and Schools of Fine Art).
Therefore two are open to any area of study and one is confined to Music and Fine Art. It is expected that students who apply for a scholarship would wish to do post-graduate studies in the field of their primary degree.
A good knowledge of French or German is required as the courses are conducted in one or other of these languages. The last date for receipt of completed application forms is 20 November 1992. A Selection Committee will make a "short-list" of candidates for final selection by the Swiss authorities.
