Tenders have been received for the refurbishment of the existing school and the building of the new extension. When the tenders have been examined the question of placing a contract will be considered in the context of the financial allocation for 1993, when determined, and other commitments and priorities.

The question of the replacement of the existing prefabricated classrooms at this school with a permanent extension has been raised and is being considered in the light of the condition of the current accommodation, future demographic trends in the area and other commitments and claims on the capital resources available. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities in due course.
