Vol. 424 No. 2

Written Answers. - School Transport.

Pat Rabbitte

Question:

73 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education the arrangements, if any, which are now available for the transportation of children attending multi-denominational schools; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

Where parents opt to send their children to the nearest multi-denominational school, which is not their nearest national school, free school transport can be given to them, subject to the cost not being excessive.
