163 Mrs. T. Ahearn asked the Minister for the Environment the number of applicants for housing, and the number of approved applicants, in the local authority areas covered by Clonmel Corporation, Cashel UDC, Tipperary UDC and Carrick-on-Suir UDC; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
The number of households, who are considered by these housing authorities for inclusion in the most recent assessment of needs carried out under section 9 of the Housing Act, 1988, at 31 March 1991, and the number whose needs were accepted for inclusion in the assessment are given in the following table:
