Ceisteanna — Questions. Written Answers. - Racing Board Accounts.

Ivan Yates

Question:

101 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture and Food if he will publish the accounts for each of the years 1989, 1990 and 1991 of the Racing Board; the way in which State grants to the board have been spent; and if he will have arrangements made so that all such accounts are published in the future.

The Annual report and Accounts of the Racing Board for 1989 and 1990 were laid before both Houses of the Oireachtas on 29 January 1991 and 5 May 1992 respectively. The Report and Accounts for 1991 are currently being examined in my Department and will be submitted to Government in the near future with a view to their being laid before the Houses of the Oireachtas.
