Question:222 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for the Environment if mortgage subsidy is payable to a person (details supplied) in County Kildare; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Mortgage Subsidy.
The person in question did not apply for a mortgage subsidy. The mortgage deed for his house was executed on 12 May 1980 and, consequently, he would not qualify for the subsidy which was payable only in respect of mortgages created on or after 10 April 1981.
