Written Answers. - County Galway Group Water Schemes.

273 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding the Lakeshore Road Group Water Supply Scheme, in County Galway.

My Department is awaiting the submission of completed application forms and tenders for the proposed works. When these are received, the scheme will be considered further.

274 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding the Keeraunmore Group Water Supply Scheme in County Galway in view of the representations received from a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

My Department is currently examining this proposal with a view to determining its financial viability.

275 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the reason for the delay in approving grants to a person (details supplied) in County Galway for a group water supply scheme.

My Department is awaiting Galway County Council's report on this scheme with a view to a decision on it.

276 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding the proposed Caherfinisker and District Group Water Scheme, County Galway.

Tenders have recently been received in my Department and are under examination at present to determine the scheme's financial viability.

277 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Environment the position regarding the Galway Main Drainage Scheme Mutton Island Outfall Project, County Galway.

An environmental impact statement in respect of this project has been submitted by Galway Corporation and is being assessed at present. I hope to determine the matter soon.
