322 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a headage grant will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Galway.

The person named has been paid his 1992 cattle headage scheme grant already.

323 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when payment of headage and suckler cow grants will be made to a person (details supplied) in County Sligo.

This applicant has already been paid his grants under the 1992 cattle and equines headage and suckler cow premium schemes. His December 1992 application for grants under the EC special beef premium scheme will be processed in due course.

Question:

324 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if his Department has received an application for a suckler cow grant from a person (details supplied) in County Cork and, if so, when payment will issue.

The person named has been paid his 1992 beef cow scheme grant already. His grant was forage area restricted and there is no balance due to him. He was recently paid a further sum of £761.67 in error and he has been requested to return the payorder or a cheque for the amount involved. He did not apply for grants under the 1992 suckler cow scheme.

325 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a decision will be made regarding the case of a person (details supplied) in County Cork who has applied for an installation aid grant.

This application, which is currently being processed by Teagasc, is at an early stage of consideration. If the applicant is found to be eligible payment will be made as soon as possible.

Question:

326 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in payment of suckler cow and beef cow premia to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will issue.

The person named has been paid his 1992 suckler cow premium scheme grant and a 70 per cent advance payment under the 1992 beef cow and equines headage schemes already. He will be paid the balance under the latter schemes shortly. Payments under the schemes have not been delayed.

327 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in the payment of a beef premium to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will issue.

This applicants 1992 special beef premium, suckler cow premium and beef cow and equines headage schemes grants are being processed for payment at present and if found in order payments will issue shortly.

A query in regard to ownership of land had to be resolved before this case could be processed.

328 Mr. J. Higgins asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason a grant in respect of a scheme for installation aid for young farmers has not been paid to a person (details supplied) in County Mayo.

Information recently furnished by the applicant is being examined. However, it is possible that further supporting documentation will be required before his eligibility is determined.

329 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when will a grant be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford under the farm development scheme; and if he will expedite payment of this.

Payment of this grant cannot be considered until the local office of the farm development service has been notified that the work in question has been completed to specification.

330 Mr. Crowley asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if a beef premium payment has been approved for a person (details supplied) in County Cork; and if so, when payment will issue.

The person named lodged an application for grants under the 1992 special beef premium scheme in December 1992 which included the animals from the application which he claims was lodged earlier in the year.

The December application is being processed at present and if found in order payment should be made in a few months time when payments commence for applications received in the November/ December application period.

331 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a beef premium payment will be issued to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford in view of the acknowledged eligibility of this person and the delay in 1992 and in 1993 on his application; and if he will expedite this.

The delay in dealing with this case is regretted. The applicant's file is now being processed and if found in order payment will issue shortly.
