Written Answers. - Kildare Schools.

Bernard J. Durkan

Question:

523 Mr. Durkan asked the Minister for Education if she has received details of the extra accommodation requirements at Maynooth Post Primary School, Maynooth, County Kildare; if her attention has been drawn to the urgent need to respond to these requirements as set out by the school authorities; if she will be in a position to meet in full this schedule in the current year; if the necessary finance for the implementation of such proposals is available in the 1993 Estimates; when the works will be completed; and if she will make a statement on the matter.

My Department received further details in support of the County Kildare vocational education committee proposal for extra accommodation at this school on 25 January 1993. These details are currently being examined, as a matter of urgency, and my Department will respond to the committee when the matter has been fully considered.
