Question:92 Ms McManus asked the Minister for the Marine the plans, if any, he has to upgrade Arklow Harbour, County Wicklow; and when this will be done.

Arklow Harbour Commissioners have submitted a harbour development plan for Arklow Harbour to the Department of the Marine for consideration for EC fund aid. The total estimated cost of the plan, which is being evaluated by the Department at present, is approximately £9.5 million. The Department's evaluation of the plan will be completed at the earliest possible date.
