168 Mr. Callely asked the Minister for Transport, Energy and Communications if he, or the Government, have received any submission from the Board of Aer Lingus in connection with proposals to address the financial problems facing the company; and if he will make a statement on the matter.

The report of the Aer Lingus Board on proposals to address the financial problems of the company was furnished to me on Friday, 12 February 1993. The plan is currently being assessed by my Department.
