Question:56 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Justice if she intends to introduce new laws in relation to the incarceration of young offenders.

As the Deputy will be aware, the Programme for Government provides for the introduction of a modern Juvenile Justice Bill. That Bill, which is being prepared at present, will deal with all aspects of the juvenile justice system.
