Question:129 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will give details of the net profit or loss for Bord na gCon and each of its subsidiary companies in 1991 and 1992.

The 1991 annual report and accounts of the board have been submitted to Government and will be laid before the House of the Oireachtas immediately. The annual report and accounts for 1992 will not be available from the board for some time.
The annual accounts of Bord na gCon give the profit or loss for the entire body. As regards the performance of each of the individual subsidiary companies, I have asked the board to communicate directly with the Deputy on this.
