Vol. 426 No. 6

Written Answers. - Kilnamanagh (Wexford) School.

Ivan Yates

Question:

155 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Education if a new primary school (details supplied) in County Wexford will be constructed this year; if financial provision for this has been made; and if she will give details of the time frame for the construction of this.

An architectual inspection of the existing school premises will be carried out this week in response to the application for the provision of a new school to replace the existing national school at Kilnamanagh, County Wexford. A decision will be conveyed to the school authorities in the very near future.

While it is not possible to include it in the capital programme for national schools in 1993 the project will, should it be approved, be considered for inclusion in the programme for future years.
