Vol. 427 No. 7

Written Answers. - Appeal by Filipino Citizen.

Alan M. Dukes

Question:

83 Mr. Dukes asked the Minister for Justice when she will make a decision in the case of an appeal by a Filipino citizen (details supplied) whose application to enter this country on a visitor's visa was refused by her Department; the reason the person's original application was turned down; and if she requires any further documentation or information to assist her in making a decision in the case.

I have examined the visa application in the light of representations made by the Deputy and I can inform the House that, subject to certain conditions, a visa will be granted to the person mentioned in the question.
