Question:

217 Mr. Gilmore asked the Minister for Health the number of persons employed in his constituency office, his private office and those of his Minister of State; the rank of each person; and the salary paid.

There are six people employed in my constituency office, eight people in my private office and three people in the office of the Minister of State as set out as follows:

The salaries paid are as published in the State Directory with the exception of:
Special Adviser who will receive existing salary plus an attraction allowance of 10 per cent of existing salary, subject to an over-riding maximum remuneration of principal officer higher scale.
Partnership Programme Manager who will receive existing salary plus an attraction allowance of 10 per cent of existing salary, subject to an over-riding maximum remuneration of principal officer higher scale.
Personal Assistant who receives existing salary plus a maximum of 10 per cent, subject to an over-riding maximum level of HEO scale.
Personal Secretary who receives existing salary plus a standard allowance of £15.38 per week.
