256 Mr. Rabbitte asked the Minister for Education if she will give details of what is involved in the finalisation of works at Tallaght regional technical college, as referred to in her address in the budget debate on 3 March 1993; and the cost of each of the works to be carried out in Tallaght regional technical college in 1993.
The Regional Technical College, Tallaght, Phase 1 is virtually at completion stage in relation to the construction of the building and the supply of furniture and equipment.
Apart from the supply of a small number of items of furniture and equipment estimated to cost about £300,000 the only remaining other works are those needing attention under the retention clause of the building contract, amounting to about £100,000. The final account for the project has not yet been received from the consultants by the Department.
