Question:93 Mr. Cox asked the Minister for Education the plans, if any, she has to acquire extra ESF funding for mainstream education; and the proposals, if any, she is formulating for the expenditure of this additional funding.
Written Answers. - ESF Funding.
The Deputy will be aware that a national development plan is currently being prepared for the utilisation of the next round of EC Structural Funds. Proposals for developments in the education sector will form an integral part of that plan. It would be premature for me to discuss specific proposals for interventions in the education sector.
