Question:130 Mr. Yates asked the Minister for Finance when a tax rebate will be paid to a person (details supplied) in County Wexford; and if he will expedite payment.
Written Answers. - Refunds of Income.
I have been advised by the Revenue Commissioners that the taxpayers' claim for repayment of tax during unemployment has been dealt with and that a cheque in settlement for £66.66 was issued to her on 4 March, 1993. Should she remain unemployed, she can claim further refunds of income tax at four weekly intervals. The inspector of taxes had advised her to apply for a further repayment after 10 March, 1993.
