Question:180 Ms. McManus asked the Minister for Justice if she will undertake to restructure and re-equip the Garda Síochána Welfare Service; and if she will provide the service with adequate staff.

I am informed by the Garda authorities that the Garda Síochána Welfare Service is the subject of an internal Garda review at present and, when this review is complete, the question of making any changes which are considered necessary will be examined.
