Vol. 428 No. 1

Written Answers. - Speed Limit.

John O'Leary

Question:

247 Mr. O'Leary asked the Minister for the Environment if he will make a regulation extending the speed limit sign of a road (details supplied) in the interest of road safety as a matter of urgency in view of the fact that the application was sent by Kerry County Council to his Department at the end of 1990.

Proposals received from Kerry County Council for the revision of speed limits for the county as a whole, which include a proposal for the extension of the existing 30 mph speed limit on the Killarney-Cork Road, are being examined in my Department and the necessary regulations will be made as soon as possible.
