251 Mr. Hughes asked the Minister for the Environment when the Westport regional water supply scheme extension to Louisburgh, County Mayo, will be included in the operational programme; and if funding for its construction can be expected in 1994.

A tender recommendation for the site investigation works contract is awaited from Mayo County Council. The question of funding the main scheme does not arise at this stage.
