Question:286 Mr. Molloy asked the Minister for the Marine the names of the Galway harbours which are being included in the Fishery Harbour Development Plan 1994-1997; and if he will make a statement on the matter.
Written Answers. - Harbour Development Plan.
The Fishery Harbour Development Plan for 1994 to 1997 is currently being drawn up by the Department of the Marine. A number of fishery harbours in County Galway are being examined for possible inclusion in the Development Plan. However, pending finalisation of the plan and clarification of the total funding available, I am not in a position, at this point in time, to say which harbours, if any, will be included.
