Vol. 428 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payments.

Jimmy Deenihan

Question:

315 Mr. Deenihan asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry if he will make a grant available to a company (details supplied) in County Kerry for development purposes.

I have recommended to the EC Commission, as part of the latest operational programme under the FEOGA scheme of EC processing and marketing grants, a project submitted by the company to which the Deputy refers.

Austin Deasy

Question:

316 Mr. Deasy asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry the reason for the delay in payment of a beef premium to a person (details supplied) in County Waterford; and when payment will issue.

The June application of the person named for grants under the 1992 special beef premium scheme is being processed at present and if found in order payment will issue shortly. Delay in payment has arisen because of pressure of work. His December 1992 special beef premium scheme application will be processed in due course.
