Vol. 428 No. 1

Written Answers. - Grant Payment.

Breeda Moynihan-Cronin

Question:

329 Mrs. Moynihan-Cronin asked the Minister for Agriculture, Food and Forestry when a premium grant will be paid in respect of a person (details supplied) in County Kerry.

The person named applied for grants under the 1992 special beef premium scheme in respect of 30 animals. At inspection it was discovered that 14 of the tag numbers listed on the application referred to females. Under the EEC Regulations governing the scheme no grants are due under the 1992 special beef premium scheme and the person named must be debarred from the scheme for 12 months.
